For those interested, Amelia's echo results are in. She still has a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) or a hole from fetal circulation that has yet to close (it closes at birth or within a few hours for most babies). We are happy to hear nothing else is wrong with her heart. We (her Doctor and parents) will continue to watch her closely. At this point, the doctor doesn't feel the need to intervene and we hope and pray things will heal on their own, without surgery at some future point.
Amelia continues to grow in many ways. She is such a joy and continues to teach her parents patience :)
