18 Months!

Amelia turned18 months on the 19th! Can she already be that old? We set up her big girl bed a few weeks ago, but have yet truly try having her sleep in it yet. She more or less plays on it, saying "too, free" and then falling on her bum. Yesterday she decided to walk herself to her room, climb in bed, and have a few minutes of quiet time before church. Jono and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Our girl keeps us rolling most of the time with her cute and crazy antics. She loves to give hugs and kisses. Amelia also enjoys dancing, singing, coloring, playing the piano, and playing with anything electronic.
Until a few days ago, she wanted nothing to do with her dolls. This has worried me, with a new baby coming and big adjustments ahead. However, she now will bring the doll to one of us and watch while we play with it. Amelia even gave the doll a hug and kiss! Weird thing to be excited about, but I was! Amelia does okay playing with other kids and being around babies, but if a baby is being held, she will crowd her way onto the lap of the holder. We've got some work to do before May. I am grateful she has such a wonderful Daddy and that the two of them get along fabulously! Hopefully it will make things easier on Amelia when her reign as only child comes to an end.
