Well, what an exciting weekend we have to share with you! Okay, actually it was pretty lame. Kami worked Thursday and Friday nights, and part of Saturday night. Poor Jon was left to fend for himself. Good thing he has a Wii to keep him company. Saturday we did manage to make it to a local nursery to check out their services. I think we both left feeling more lost then before. Anyone a professional landscaper????
We did find a flower/plant that we both fell in love with. Maybe we'll do a planter box on our front porch for starters, just so it looks a little more welcoming out there.
Sunday we went to church, as usual. We love our ward. And admittedly, on the days when you're struggling to pay attention, there are a million kids to keep us entertained. It's hard some Sundays to keep from completely busting out laughing. Anyway, Jono played the organ and got to "pull out all the stops," which he loves! He's a rather quiet guy and the organ allows him to let his loudness out, at least that's what he says. Kami played in Relief Society and things didn't go too badly! What a blessing!
The baby, who we think will be named Amelia (still working on a middle name), is as active as ever. She had the hiccups the other night, while Kami was holding a baby at work who also had the hiccups. It was quite the moment, but you probably had to be there. We're thrilled and excited for her to join our family. Some days it's a little overwhelming, but we feel a deep sense of gratitude that Heavenly Father is allowing one of His children to come to our family.
